The traditional England versus Scotland rally challenge will have a host of changes in 2009 when the Pirelli MSA Gravel Rally Championship goes head to head with the competitors from the Hankook MSA Scottish Rally Championship on the 20/21st March 2009.

The first major change will be the running of further stages in Scotland within the Wauchope forest complex. The National A event will tackle four tests here, two of those on the Friday night offering competitors the opportunity to tackle Kielder in darkness, reviving memories of classic RAC stages of old. gareth-wyn-parryGareth Wyn Parry, a first year student at Coleg Menai, Bangor, North Wales, has chosen to base a unit of his coursework on the forthcoming Bulldog International Rally of North Wales.
 
Gareth, who is studying for a BTEC National Diploma in Media Production, specialising in Film and Television, aims to produce a five-minute video on the event, which will form the basis of one of the units, needed to pass his first year in college.  Ultimately Gareth aims to go to university and to become a Sports Cameraman.
