Stone based Neville Jones made a welcome return to rallying after the summer break by successfully debuting a new, more powerful engine in his Vulcan Fasteners backed Subaru Impreza on last weekends Woodpecker Stages.

Jones, a BTRDA Championship regular, was re-united with brother in law Julian for the Ludlow based event. And with a new ‘B13’ engine installed in his Impreza Jones enjoyed a fun filled day in the woods as he dusted off the cobwebs whilst having to adapt his driving technique to the new engine, which features improved torque at higher revs, but by the end of the day were on the pace of their class rivals. The entire 50-edition collection of the classic monthly rally video series “Acceleration – The Rally Video” is finally being released on DVD, with the first 12 months already available as individual DVDs (with two months and almost 120 minutes on each DVD), or as a six-DVD box-set.

The videos have been digitally re-mastered for improved sound and the picture format has been changed from the original 4:3 aspect of the usual 90s television to the newer 16:9 (widescreen) format of the latest televisions. Read More »

HM Plant Honda’s Josh Brookes will be back in the seat of his CBR1000RR Fireblade Superbike at this weekend’s tenth round of the British Superbike Championship at Croft, paired with the former HM Plant Honda double BSB Champion Ryuichi Kiyonari who is making a sensational return to the championship just for this weekend.

The 26-year-old Japanese rider will ride for the HM Plant Honda team, with whom he won the title in 2006 and 2007, in place of the injured Glen Richards who is still recovering from a broken leg. Read More »

Jason, a member of the British Rally Elite, and co-driver Andrew Edwards are contesting this weekends three day long Omloop van Vlaanderen as a shakedown for their brand new Citroen C2R2 Max ahead of the grand finale of the British Citroen Racing Trophy which takes place three weeks later.
