Team Pyro’s Dave Newsham (Inverness) showed why he is among the favourites to lift the 2010 ELF Renault Clio Cup with Michelin title after setting the fastest time during official pre-season testing at Snetterton on Wednesday, 24th March. Surrey single-seater racer Will Stevens says he’s feeling confident ahead of the first rounds of the Michelin Formula Renault UK Championship after topping the timesheets on the final official pre-season test at Snetterton circuit on 23rd/24th March.
The 18-year-old Manor Competition driver – who also headed the timesheets at the first official test at Brands Hatch Indy circuit earlier this month – posted a best overall time of 1min 04.150s (109.54mph average) around the 1.952-mile Norfolk circuit on the final session of the first day.
