Revolution Wheels backed drivers scored podium positions in three different rallies over the May bank holiday weekend when Rob Swann won Group N on the hugely popular Sol Rally Barbados, Alistair Fisher finished second overall on the Jim Clark International Rally and Jock Armstrong finished third overall on the Jim Clark Reivers Rally!

Matovu relishing Rwandan return

Ugandan born internationally rallying co-driver Moses Matovu is relishing a return to the KCB Rwandan Mountain Gorilla Rally when he jets back to Africa fresh from a top ten Production Class result on last weekends WRC Rally Portugal. Wladoil Africa expands to three cars for Rwanda rally

The Wladoil Africa Rally Team is set to expand to three cars for this weekends KCB Rwanda Mountain Gorilla Rally when former Kenyan National Rally Champion Lee Rose tackles the event in his Mitsubishi Evo 9, whilst the Ciaraldi family will also contest the rally, father Giancarlo in a historic specification Ford Escort and son Gianluca at the wheel of a Mitsubishi Evo 8!

Second British Rally Championship victory for JRM

• Gwyndaf Evans wins Jim Clark Rally in JRM Mitsubishi Evolution X.
• Top result provides team with wins this season on snow, gravel and asphalt.

Driving a JRM Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, Gwyndaf Evans and co-driver Chris Patterson recorded the team’s second Dulux Trade MSA British Rally Championship victory in a row, when they won the Jim Clark International Rally. After battling for the lead during the first half of the event, they went ahead on stage 12 and pulled out a lead of 31 seconds by the time they crossed the finish line.

Bogie powers to second Reivers win

David Bogie dominated the Jim Clark Reivers Rally to win the only tarmac round of the Hankook MSA Scottish Rally Championship for the second year running.

The reigning Scottish champion, driving a hired ’05 Ford Focus WRC, mastered the often wet and treacherous conditions to complete the eight Berwickshire stages in a total time of 57 minutes 57 seconds – 2 minutes and 32 seconds ahead of last year’s runner up Euan Thorburn in a Subaru Impreza N15.
