The Todds Leap.com Rally NI (or Ulster Rally as it’s generically known) is the one event of the year where the UK Mitsubishi Ralliart Evolution Challenge meets its Irish equivalent. For teams contesting the UK series, which follows the Dulux Trade MSA British Rally Championship, this is the fifth of six rounds this season and, for those contesting the Irish-based Mitsubishi series, it’s the sixth of eight. Rallye Deutschland, the second asphalt round of this season, has been eagerly awaited by the Citroën Junior Team. Sébastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia make a return to the cockpit of the number 7 C4 WRC and aim to replicate the potential they showed in Bulgaria, whilst Kimi Räikkönen and Kaj Lindström will feel more at home and more competitive on their preferred surface type.

After Bulgaria, Rally Germany is the second of the four asphalt rallies in the 2010 FIA World Championship. Team Putoline Suzuki by http://www.fasteddyracing.com  rider, Tom Sagar, dominated the fifth round of the Metzeler Britiish Enduro Championship at the weekend, winning the E2 class on both days at the Dyfi event in Wales.

Riding his RMX450Z, Sagar needed a good performance to keep his championship hopes alive, and set about it in the best way possible, winning the opening seven hour day at the challenging event. Read More »

Round six of the Maxxis British Motocross Championship proved to be a challenging event for the MVR-D Suzuki Team at the weekend, as Matiss Karro finished 10th overall after a pair of top-ten finishes and a DNF.

In what was not expected to be a great round for the young Latvian, due to the grassy nature of the Farleigh Castle track and his preference for sand, Karro rode impressively, starting well in the opening race by gating in second spot, before a race-long battle with Elliott Banks-Browne ended in a clash while making a move for third. Remounting, Karro pushed on, catching the pack but had to settle for fifth at the flag. Read More »
