Felipe Nasr excels with two wins at season opener

Škoda UK Motorsport’s Andreas Mikkelsen achieved exactly what he set out to do on the Rally Islas Canarias Trofeo El Corte Inglés – and that was to enjoy a completely trouble-free run in his Fabia S2000 and finish in the Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC) points. Co-driven by Ola Fløene, Andreas finished a solid 6th overall after a faultless drive. Read More »

The first meeting of the season for the WORLD SERIES by RENAULT 2011 took place this weekend on the ALCANIZ track in Spain and Paul Loup CHATIN took part in the very challenging EUROCUP championship.

In this first leg, the “EUROFORMULA VOLANT” 2011 had a qualified success although it was generally positive. Yet Paul Loup CHATIN started well, finishing in 9th and 7th place in the free practice sessions on Friday. Read More »

It was champagne, glory and maximum points for two of the Brick and Steel Ecosse Challenge’s more experienced crews on Saturday’s CARS Recovery Granite City Rally. Grant Inglis and Robert Gray took top place in the Honda Civic class, whereas Tom and Sue Hynd kept up their impeccable start to 2011 with another win in the Peugeot 205 section.

Although the vast majority of Grant Inglis’ rallying CV involves skidding around in old Ford Escorts, the driver from Stepps in Glasgow is really starting to get the hang of the newer Honda technology. Grant and co-driver Gray were dark horses in the Civic title race in 2010, and a few more results like this will put them right up there again in 2011. Read More »
