BHRC 2012 TV deal unveiled

The 2012 Kololi Beach Club MSA British Historic Rally Championship will have a superb TV package with all eight events covered in dedicated hour-long programmes on Motors TV.
 
The complete story of each event will be told by David Winstanley at rallytv.co.uk, with detailed coverage of each of the three categories. In addition to the eight programmes, the schedule will include a mid-season summary and an end of year review, giving a total of 10 hours of TV dedicated to some of the best action in British rallying. With each programme enjoying several repeats, the overall total will be more than 40 hours of TV.

HRCR Open Day

Another year and another trip to the Heritage Motor Museum for the 2012 HRCR Open Day. Once again the main category winners from 2011 had their cars on display, plus a smattering of others outside the museum. With all the major events for the 2012 season also represented at the show, it gave a valuable insight into some interesting plans for 2012.

Pirelli extends BRC contract

Pirelli and the BRC have agreed a deal for a further two years as tyre provider to the MSA British Rally Championship.

The premium tyre manufacturer has been control tyre to the series since 2007 with the previous agreement due for completion at the end of 2012. However, as part of its ongoing commitment to national-level motorsport, Pirelli has signed a deal with BRC organisers to ensure it is sole tyre provider until the end of 2014.
