Kev Monaghan made an excellent fight back from a stage one disaster to take second in class on last weekend’s Manx National rally, round two of the MSA National AsTarmac Rally Championship.

Registration has opened for The Italian Job Touring Event 2012 (one the most colourful events ever to be staged in the name of charity), which is set to raise as much money as possible for the children’s charity Variety Club. Rally enthusiasts in the UK, Europe and further afield are being encouraged to sign up.

The long-running event is an essential fixture in any classic car enthusiast’s calendar, and this year takes place between 25 October 25th to 2 November. The historic racing community bid farewell to a thrilling weekend of action on the streets of Monaco as the 8th Grand Prix de Monaco Historique came to a close on Sunday evening.

In a weekend that saw some captivating motor racing on the world’s most famous street circuit, Credit Suisse once again played host to racing drivers, VIPs and media at the Swiss chalet-themed Credit Suisse Drivers Club throughout the weekend.
