Gary,
I’m afraid we do not do any scholarships. We are merely an enthusiasts website who occassionally sell our images to the press and more commonly competitors.

Russ.
Chris,
The best way to discover the best spots is through experience. What pleases one photographer may utterly bore another one, so personal choice comes in to it too. As for stage maps in advance these are either available on event websites or by doing some investigative work combined with an OS map, (printed or on-line), you can decipher stage routes based on past stage information, which is strewn around the Internet.
It is almost like a graduation. You have to make contacts and build up the information over a period of time, get to know people who organise and compete and the information will then flow. Or build up a back catalogue, get some clients and start signing on as media for events, where you will get all the information the event organisers permit members of the media to have.
Personally I am a printed map man and have a large collection of OS maps with past stage routes drawn on them. I can generally get the stage layout correct from knowing the mileage and running order of an event. I’m afraid this only comes with experience.

I have competed all year in the BTRDA 1400/ MGZR Challenge. I have noted several good pictures of my car. One in particular is on the Woodpecker 09 (157), car 241. How much woulda HD picture cost?
Best Regards James
hello Russ
finally getting around to emailing u after bulldog!!
are you out on red kite?
Hi Kevin,
Nope I’m afraid. Bit too far to travel on my own, although going to Brechfa was tempting. Somerset next for me and then the Welsh before a last gasp dash to do the Manx, (which I had written off this year!).
Russ.
Chris,
Apologies for the huge delay, various technical issues plus several extended breaks from the Uk recently. Drop me your e-mail address to russ@90right.com and I’ll get the proofs over to you.
Cheers,
Russ.
James,
Apologies for the huge delay in replying, various technical issues and several extended breaks from the UK.
If you would like the high resolution image on CD or e-mailing then it would be £5. Drop me a mail to russ@90right.com if you want to discuss further.
Regards,
Russ.
