For his debut in the French GT FFSA Championship on the Bugatti circuit, Enzo Guibbert, the “Volant Euroformula” 2012, was in second place on the podium for Race 2. Enzo wants to substantiate this result in Imola where he will continue to strengthen his skills behind the wheel of his Porsche 997 GT3-R managed by Philippe Almeras’ Pro GT team.
For his debut in the French FFSA GT Championship, the “Volant Euroformula” 2012, Enzo Guibbert, made it to the second step of the podium in his second race after he finished ninth in Race 1! Behind the wheel of his Porsche 997 GT3-R managed by Philippe Alméras, Enzo outwitted all the traps and climbed level with the best.
The purpose of a driving school, beyond training courses and other activities linked to the single-seater, is to spot new talent and in this respect Laurent Fradon, the director of the school, launched the “VOLANT EUROFORMULA” in 2010.
The selections put Pierre COMBOT, Simon TIRMAN, Enzo GUIBBERT, Victor SENDIN, Darius OSKOUI, Maxime RAPHOZ, Joffrey de NARDA, Julien GOUPIL, Jordan PERROY, Cyril RAYMOND and Amaury ROSSERO head-to-head in the semi-final on the LA CHATRE circuit behind the wheels of Formula Renault 2.0s pulled from the hat by the senior instructor Joel de Miguel.
The final challenge of the French F4 Championship 2012 took place on the high tech circuit of Le Castellet. For Simon Gachet, the “VOLANT EUROFORMULA” 2011, the stakes were high because he was only four points short of a podium at the start of the meeting. If he was to reverse the situation he would have to find the pace which made him one of the strong players at the start of the season. Mission accomplished for Simon Gachet who, after a nice comeback, crossed the finishing line in third place of Race 2, which definitely landed him in third place of the French F4 Championship 2012.
It had all started so well for Simon Gachet, the “VOLANT EUROFORMULA” 2011. Indeed, after some solid qualifiers in which he placed himself brilliantly in fourth and third place on the Navarra circuit in Spain, which he was discovering for the first time, Simon fought two difficult races and finished in seventh place in the first and 14th in the second.
The “EUROFORMULA VOLANT” 2011 left his mark once again in the 3rd round of the French F4 Championship which took place on the highly technical circuit of Val de Vienne near Vigeant. After some good qualifiers, where Simon Gachet respectively held 3rd and 2nd place on the starting grid, the “EUROFORMULA VOLANT” finished at the foot of the podium in race 1 and race 2. This performance put Simon Gachet, at the end of the 3rd round, in second place in the provisional rankings of the French F4 championship!
