Peugeot finished 2011 in style with a sixth race win from seven races and a fourth one-two. Anthony Davidson and Sébastien Bourdais claimed victory at Zhuhai ahead of Franck Montagny and Stéphane Sarrazin, after a close race in which the Peugeot 908s once again combined performance, reliability and endurance. This one-two finish in China rounds off a successful year for Peugeot, which has seen them secure a second ILMC title.

The reigning Intercontinental Le Mans Cup champions, Team Peugeot Total will be racing for the first time the new Peugeot 908, in the 12 Hours of Sebring, next weekend.

Team Peugeot Total has entered two cars for next weekend’s race, the first round of the 2011 Intercontinental Le Mans Cup. The first car, racing as No. 7 will be driven by the 2010 driver team champions, Alexander Wurz, Marc Gené and Anthony Davidson. Team Peugeot Total produced a blend of panache and suspense to round off the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP’s remarkable career with a resounding victory in Sunday’s 1000km of Zhuhai (southeast China).
