James02Kick Energy rally driver Mark James was in action last weekend when he competed in the ninth running of three-day Oris Rallye Clasico Isla Mallorca held on the popular Balearic Isle whereby he came away with a top ten result.

After contesting the event in Global Brands CEO Steve Perez’s Lancia Stratos and Porsche 911 over the past two years, Mark, from Sheffield and co driver Matt Frolish enjoyed a trouble-free run in Mark’s own 1985 Ferrari 328 to record a fine 10th place overall in the Regularity section. Read More »

Kick Energy rally driver Steve Perez just missed out on a deserved podium when he recorded a battling fourth place finish on SOL Rally Barbados at the weekend.

Along with Welsh co-driver Paul Spooner, the Chesterfield Ford Focus WRC07 driver ended up just over seven seconds behind third placed Trinidadians Jeffrey Panton and Michael Fennell Jnr (Ford Focus) after 21 hard fought stages around the Caribbean island. Read More »

The Kick Energy team will expand to three cars for the forthcoming 60th Jubilee KCB Safari Rally as Simon Sharpe and his unique V8 Platz hybrid joins championship regulars Peter and Alex Horsey. For this three day rally Alex Horsey will make his competition debut in the crowd pleasing “Moto Moto” Datsun Debe whilst Peter will be at the helm of the powerful Mitsubishi Evo 10.

Simon Sharpe and co-driver Crispin Kennedy powered their Kick Energy Platz hybrid to their second consecutive victory of the 2012 Kenyan Rally Raid Championship over the weekend. The pair ended the two day event almost 23 minutes ahead of the Ian Duncan/ Andrew Pleasance combination in a Nissan Patrol. Read More »

Kick Energy rally driver Steve Perez bounced back from a potential disaster to record a fine fourth place finish on this weekend’s Circuit of Ireland Rally.

Things didn’t get off to a great start as on Thursday evening, the rear silencer on the Ford Focus WRC cracked and the exhaust broke on the shakedown stage which caused the underneath of the car to overheat and set the rear bumper on fire. Read More »

Kick Energy scored a double podium during the second round of the Kenyan National Autocross Championship when Zane Young finished second in the Quad category and Geoff Mayes finished third in the rally car class at last weekends meeting at Jamhuri Park in Nairobi. Read More »

Kick Energy enjoyed a successful weekend in Suswa when their two quad riders, Zane Young and Geoff Mayes, both brought their racing quad bikes back to the finish to take second and fourth overall respectively. This was the first time that Geoff had ever ridden a quad and faced a steep learning curve on the technical route. Read More »
