Peugeot UK has confirmed that it has re-signed Kris Meeke to drive its Peugeot 207 S2000 in next year’s Intercontinental Rally Challenge, accompanied by co-driver Paul Nagle.

It was on 15th December 2008 that Peugeot UK first announced its intention to enter a Peugeot 207 S2000 into the 2009 IRC. Now almost twelve months later, Peugeot has secured its third consecutive IRC Manufacturers’ title and Peugeot UK driver Kris Meeke is the 2009 IRC Drivers’ champion. Read More »


Day 2 – Mombasa to Voi
Kick Energy Rally driver Steve Perez reported an incident packed day on Day 2 of the 2009 Kenya Airways East African Safari Rally whereby he holds fifth position.

On the day’s opening stage, another heavy landing caused some minor steering rack damage to the historic-specification Datsun 260Z, which Perez is sharing with the experienced co driver Staffan Parmander, but despite losing a small amount of time, he reached the stage finish without further problems. Hardev Sira Singh, a Kenyan now living in England, has enjoyed his best ever start to what is arguably the toughest rally in the world, the Kenya Airways East African Safari Classic Rally, and heads into the third day second in class and inside the top 25 overall. Read More »

SEAT is World Touring Car Champion for the second year in succession, following the culmination of the WTCC season in Macau yesterday.  And the celebrations don’t end there – just like last year one of its drivers is again World Champion though, this time, outgoing champ Yvan Muller is pipped to the post by team-mate Gabriele Tarquini.

Guy Wilks and co-driver Phil Pugh claimed an outstanding second place in this weekend’s RACMSA Rally of Scotland, the finale of the 2009 Intercontinental Rally Challenge. Driving the Skoda UK-supported Fabia Super 2000 rally car for the first time, Wilks and Pugh negotiated appalling weather to claim a series of stage wins on their way to second, just 20 seconds behind series champion Kris Meeke.
