The legendary USA fuel additive brand STP – its 50-year history steeped in high-level motorsport – is returning to UK tracks for a major title assault on the 2010 Avon Tyres British GT Championship, backing a Chad Racing Ferrari 430 Scuderia GT3 for Daniel Brown and Chris Hyman.

Forrest Lodge near Dumfries, Scotland hosted a packed entry of 45 cars for last November’s Borders Hill Rally including five Wildcat 200s of varying specification, making their presence felt right from the start.

Because of the rally’s compact location and lack of road liaison sections, it proved a big hit with the competitors and service crews alike and the dry cold conditions really helped with the event creating a great atmosphere all around the pit area. Read More »

The regulations for the 2010 season have been online for a while now, but competitors and teams can now fill in their forms electronically then post or email them direct to championship office.

British club racer and champion, Derek Johnston from Nottingham, fulfilled the first step of his dream race drive this weekend in Florida.

Derek tested his 500 bhp #77 Doran Racing Daytona Prototype this weekend at the Roar Before the Rolex 24. This official test is the final preparation for the Radical UK and European Championship winner’s prize drive from Daytona Speedway. Now he’s all set to race against Jimmie Johnson, Juan Pablo Montoya, Dario Franchitti, and Ricardo Zonta in the epic Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona at the end of January. Read More »

Škoda UK Motorsport will enter a Fabia Super 2000 for Guy Wilks and co-driver Phil Pugh on the 2010 Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC).

Guy, from Darlington in County Durham, is one of Britain’s most exciting rally talents, having won the British Rally Championship twice (2007 and ’08) and finished runner-up in the 2005 FIA Junior Rally Championship.  The 28-year old driver won the RAC MSA Rally of Scotland last November, driving a Škoda Fabia S2000 in competition for the first time.
