Following working with the organisers to produce a five-minute video of the 2009 Bulldog International Rally North Wales, eighteen-year-old student Gareth Wyn Parry will have his work showcased at a major film festival in Wales later this month.

Gareth, who is studying for a BTEC National Diploma in Media Production specialising in film and television at Coleg Menai, Bangor, produced the film to form the basis of one of the units needed to pass his first year at college. Read More »

Van Merksteijn will take part in the World Rally Championship Rally of Sweden from February 11th until the 14th. Father and son Van Merksteijn will start for the second time in this famous and unique rally which has in its history been won only once by a non Scandinavian driver. Read More »

McRae Vision, the charity set up in the aftermath of Colin’s tragic accident in 2007, will be attending The Kick Energy-sponsored Rally Show at Chatsworth over the weekend of 5/6th June.

Amongst its objectives, the charity supports causes and runs initiatives particularly for the benefit of underprivileged children and the education of young persons involved in motorsport. They have recently presented a cheque for £35,000 to purchase specialist medical equipment for a new paediatric intensive care ambulance for which further funds are being raised by the Yorkhill Children’s Foundation.
