After a one-year break, the organisers have decided to hold another of their popular Rally Forums. The event will be held on Saturday 8 January 2011, at Theatr Clera, Welshpool, Powys. Doors open at 18.00; the forum starts at 19.00.

The 2011 event will be titled “An Evening with Howard Davies & guests”. Howard will once again be interviewing personalities from the world of rallying, in his usual style! This will mean severe embarrassment for his guests! Read More »

Škoda UK Motorsport will begin its 2011 Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC) campaign on the Rallye Monte Carlo (19-22 January), when it enters a Fabia S2000 for Andreas Mikkelsen and co-driver Ola Fløene. Read More »

The season review of the Dunlop/WONAGO.com MSA British Historic Rally Championship will first be screened on Motors TV at 9.15pm on Christmas Day, Saturday 25 December.

As well as the initial prime-time slot on Motors TV, each programme has several repeats in the week after the initial transmission. This review programme runs for two hours.

Former sports car, rally and Formula 1 driver Vic Elford is the first star name to commit to appearing at the first Rally Show to be held at Cornbury Park, Oxfordshire, on 14/15 May 2011.

Now USA-domiciled, ‘Quick Vic’, as he was nicknamed, has a very impressive motorsport CV, the envy of many a current star. Having started out as a co-driver, a move across to the driving seat in 1961 saw the beginning of a legendary career which was to last for over 20 years. His first works drives were for Triumph, then Ford, with whom he distinguished himself on the Alpine Rally by winning the Touring category in 1964. But he moved to Porsche at the end of 1966. The Dunlop/WONAGO.com MSA British Historic Rally Championship will head to Scotland in 2011 with the announcement that the Colin McRae Stages (Saturday 1 October) will replace the Trackrod Historic Cup in the schedule for the coming season.

As part of the BHRC’s on-going consultation process with crews, and following an end of season poll, the 2011 championship will now include the Colin McRae Forest Stages Rally, organised by Coltness Car Club as its penultimate round. This event will run on Saturday 1 October and the event organisers have welcomed the championship to Scotland, and their rally in particular. Read More »

For the third year running, the new season of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC) will kick off with the Monte Carlo rally, and Peugeot will be bidding to win the event with a host of familiar names.

This year will see ten Peugeot 207 S2000s line up to contest the 100th anniversary of the legendary Monte Carlo rally.  This strong showing has just one aim, to mark this anniversary with another Peugeot win. Read More »
