Milford Haven rally driver Nick Cristofaro, 17, enjoyed a successful debut in the high-profile British Rally Championship last weekend when he finished 15th overall and fourth in class on the Rallye Sunseeker.

Cristofaro’s event commenced with a Friday evening ceremonial start in Poole town centre where crowds of spectators gathered to see the cars. The competitive action then took place on Saturday in the forests of Dorset and Hampshire. Read More »

Another year has flown by since the last Race Retro and here we were back again at our local show. This time around we took in the first and last days of the show with the Sunday being especially foul, still we enjoyed the action and had a great time always. It seems amazing to think that this is the 8th year of the show and we’ve been to every single one. With the show going from strength to strength, coupled with the growing interest in historic motorsport, we can only see this show growing year on year. Read More »

Bentham rally driver David Wright will head to the Malcolm Wilson rally next weekend keen to build on his excellent result on the opening round of the BTRDA championship when he finished fourth overall and first in class.

Wright and co-driver Michael Wilkinson will be contesting the Cockermouth-based event in their GPM Mitsubishi Evo 9 with support from Proflex, Drenth, Kumho Tyres and Grove Hill Garage. Read More »

The Swift Group supported Mlllers Oils BTRDA 1400 Rally Champion of 2010, Matt Edwards, has secured a huge pre-season boost by being selected onto the Millers Oils ‘Rising Stars’ Scholarship scheme for 2011. The programme will see Edwards benefit from the supply of Millers Oils products throughout the year, aswell as benefitting from extensive media exposure and technical advice.

Edwards was selected from a large number of applicants from all divisions of UK Motorsport whose season kicks off this weekend, (March 6th) as he leads 125 crews away from Newtown on the Mid-Wales Stages, an event on which he took his maiden rally win in 2010. Once again Matt will be co-driven by Sam Collis from Chesterfield in a Geoff Jones Motorsport Subaru Impreza for this event prior to preparing for his BRC Challenge campaign. Read More »
