The Beaujolais Run is incredibly proud to announce that it has been formally recognised by the Royal Automobile Club and will start from its Woodcote Park Clubhouse. In reciprocation, the Club has been afforded partner status of the ‘Run. This is particularly poignant as past ‘Run starters; Sir Stirling Moss, Nigel Mansell and Damon Hill have all received the prestigious Segrave Trophy awarded by the Club.
Rob Bellinger,’Run Director said: “We are absolutely delighted that after many years of hard work, this quintessentially British event has now received the recognition it deserves from the bastion of British motoring. This special partnership will afford many privileges to competitors on the 2011 ‘Run when we return to the Sixties and are the final official event to celebrate Jaguar and 50 years of the E-Type”.
We are now extending an invitation to Jaguar drivers, and in our commitment to welcoming a variety of metal; an array of car and touring motorcycle club members to take part in the 2011 ‘Run supporting the Henry Surtees Foundation. For more information visit http://www.beaujolaisrun.com
