The sun shone down on Snetterton and the MG KX Momentum Racing Team for rounds 16, 17 and 18 of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship, as the second half of the BTCC season got underway in Norfolk. Jason Plato, Andrew Jordan and, for the first time, Dave Newsham shared the wins in Sunday’s three action-packed Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship races at the Snetterton circuit in Norfolk. But it is Matt Neal who continues to lead the standings – just – from team-mate Gordon Shedden as the nation’s premier motor racing championship now heads to the latter’s home circuit of Knockhill, Fife in a fortnight on the weekend of 25/26 August.

Alexander Vassallo clinched the top spot in the inaugural 2012 Brick & Steel Junior 1000 Ecosse Challenge on the Solway Coast Junior Rally on 12th August. Driving his Citroen C1 rally car, and co-driven by Howard Paterson, he took another solid victory in the rally held on the military ranges near Kirkcudbright. This was his 5th win out of 5 starts in the 6 event Championship for 14 to 17 year old rally drivers. Read More »
