The final challenge of the French F4 Championship 2012 took place on the high tech circuit of Le Castellet.  For Simon Gachet, the “VOLANT EUROFORMULA” 2011, the stakes were high because he was only four points short of a podium at the start of the meeting. If he was to reverse the situation he would have to find the pace which made him one of the strong players at the start of the season. Mission accomplished for Simon Gachet who, after a nice comeback, crossed the finishing line in third place of Race 2, which definitely landed him in third place of the French F4 Championship 2012. The G-DRIVE RACING BY SIGNATECH NISSAN team and their drivers ended the first season in the history of the FIA WORLD ENDURANCE CHAMPIONSHIP on the beautiful circuit of Shanghai in China. They signed some solid performances this season notably with a fourth place in LMP2 in the 24 Hours of Le Mans (10th overall), a podium in Silverstone and a fastest lap in LMP2 in the Fuji race. Nelson and his co-drivers, Pierre Ragues and Roman Rusinov, saw all their hopes of success vanish with a broken front brake disc just as they took second place in the LMP2 class.
