jaffa12 (7)Our first visit to Pembrey was a wet one, unsurprisingly. Not too bad on us during the day as the standing water around made for hazardous conditions but in turn provided plenty of spectacular action for the large post Christmas crowd. Proving to be the class of the field were Peter Lloyd & Emma Todd (Impreza WRC) who won by the best part of 2 minutes, in the end. Paul Fowden & Jason Sugden (Impreza) were a good 2nd overall, 19 seconds ahead of Geoff Kitney & Ken Gibbard (Lancer Evo VI).

But entertainer of the day had to go to top 2WD finisher and current SWRC World Champion Craig Breen who attended the event to honour his former co-driver, whom the rally was named after this year. He was loaned an Escort MkII and co-driven by Llion Williams on his way to 4th overall, although his position in the rally is not what counted on this occasion.
