wec13 (17)In the end it all came down to the last half an hour as Allan McNish (Audi R18 e-tron) was set a mission, to catch his team mate to win his first Tourist Trophy after many years trying. Happily in these times of team orders Audi let their crews compete and with a few laps to go McNish took 1st place and victory alongside Tom Kristensen & Loïc Duval. Behind were André Lotterer, Benoît Tréluyer & Marcel Fässler in the sister Audi R18 e-tron. Alex Parpottas/Chris Davies Ford Fiesta R2Hoddesdon rally star Alex Parpottas heads to the South West next weekend as he tackles the third round of the BTRDA National Rally Championship which centres around the seaside town of Minehead.  After a strong second place in the Silver Star category for two wheel drive vehicles on the Malcolm Wilson Rally, Parpottas is hoping to build on his strong start and use the event as a shakedown for the upcoming MSA British Rally Championship (BRC) event, The Richard Burns Foundation Pirelli rally.
