CMS Headline Sponsor AnnounceTo mark its 30th anniversary, the Classic Motor Show has signed a multi-year deal with a brand new headline sponsor. Held at Birmingham’s NEC from 15th to 17th November, the event, which is seen as the season finale, will now be sponsored by Lancaster Insurance Services and be named the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show. George Morrison / Richard Hortin Peugeot 205After 3 years away from the NGK Spark Plugs BRC Challenge, Bilsthorpe resident George Morrison made his series comeback on last weekend’s Pirelli Richard Burns Foundation Rally which centred around the Kielder forest complex in Cumbria.  Over 50 miles of some of the toughest stages in the UK would greet the Peugeot 205 driver who has his sights firmly set on repeating his class success of 2010.  Sadly mechanical issues would blight his podium aspirations on the popular Borders event. Aaron McClure / Tom Woodburn Ford FiestaRising rally talent Aaron McClure piloted his Ford Fiesta ST to a creditable third overall and second in class on the opening round of the NGK Spark Plugs BRC Challenge (NGKBRCC), the Pirelli Richard Burns Foundation Rally.  Co-driven by Morecambe’s Tom Woodburn, the young pairing kicked off their title aspirations in fine style on the Carlisle based event, beating many more experienced competitors in the same class. Kumho Hamsterley13Having finished a fighting second in round one of the West Wales Rally Spares R.A.C Rally Championship, Marty McCormack and co-driver Phil Clarke went one better last week (April 28) and achieved overall victory in the SG Petch Tour of Hamsterley by 45 seconds.
