On behalf of the Championship and Greenlight TV, I would like to apologise for the last minute change to the broadcasting of the first round of the MSA British Rally Championship, the Pirelli Richard Burns Foundation Rally. The original postponement and subsequent delay in broadcasting of the programme reviewing round one, which was due to be shown last night and again today, was outside of the control of the championship organisers.

We are currently in close communication with our TV production team and as of today (Tuesday 14th May), we have not yet received any formal notification from Sky detailing the new schedules. I want to assure you that as soon as they are made known to us, we will communicate them. Read More »

vassalloforpressreleaseThe sun shone and so did the Junior 1000 drivers who competed on the second round of the 2013 Brick & Steel Junior 1000 Ecosse Challenge at the DCC Junior Stages Rally, Ingliston on Saturday 27th April. At 9am a total of 13 crews lined up on the startline of the first of 6 stages around the tight circuit using the service roads of the Royal Highland Showground.  6 were pretty much newcomers for 2013 and 7 were “second year” drivers who had competed on this event in 2012. Alex Adams – one of the experienced drivers – only just squeezed off the reserve list and got a run. The whole event was extremely popular and heavily overscribed. Read More »

Loeb LoheacSebastien Loeb will contest the FIA European Rallycross Championship for the first time when he drives in the Rallycross of France at Loheac on August 31-September 1.

Loeb will drive a Citroen DS3 Supercar in the event which forms round seven of the nine-event championship. The 39-year-old, nine-time World Rally Champion has added the RallycrossRX outing to his calendar in a year in which he has embarked on a diverse range of events including rounds of the World Rally Championship, the FIA GT Championship and Pikes Peak Hill Climb. Tour Britannia13The ninth edition of Tour Britannia, Britain’s only classic race and rally tour, has been hailed a success by competitors after two full days of competition (10/11 May). Races at Mallory Park and Silverstone and 18 asphalt special stages from a base at Warwick made up the 2013 route. Read More »

Samira Khan - Voi Rally 2013The Rally Queens, Samira Khan and Chantal Young, survived a rally of attrition when the all woman crew brought their classic Ford Escort Mk1 to the finish of the recent KCB Voi Rally. The girls suffered with a poor handling car after a rear shock absorber failed in the famous Taita Hills but Samira was able to nurse the Escort to the finish and gained plenty of useful experience.
