Russ Thompson and Andy Murphy recorded their second maximum points NGK Spark Plugs BRC Challenge victory of the season, as they dominated a compelling RSAC Scottish Rally Challenge Rally, recording victory by 58 seconds.

After the traditional summer break, the second half of the season kicks off at Rally Finland. Citroën’s works crews, Dani Sordo/Carlos del Barrio and Mikko Hirvonen/Jarmo Lehtinen will line up at the fastest, most spectacular event on the WRC calendar. They will be joined by Northern Irishmen Kris Meeke and his co-driver Chris Patterson, who will compete for the Abu Dhabi Citroën Total World Rally Team, replacing Khalid Al Qassimi and Scott Martin. Benjamyn McKay / Jason McKay Renault Twingo20 year old Ben Mckay sealed victory on last weekend’s RSAC Scottish Rally as he piloted his Renault Twingo to a comfortable victory in the Twingo Renaultsport Trophy and class R1 on the Dumfries based event.  Setting fastest R1 stage time on seven of the eight contested stages, Mckay put the mechanical gremlins of the last event behind him, taking the lead of both the MSA British Rally Championship R1 class and Twingo Trophy R1 championships.
