The Twingo Renaultsport Trophy UK revved up for the RSAC Scottish Rally this weekend, rallying son and father team Ben & Jason Mckay taking top Twingo points on round two of the MSA British Rally Championship.

The notoriously fast and rocky stages in Dumfries and Galloway were a brand new challenge for Twingo Trophy protagonists Mckay junior and senior as well as for Harry Threlfall and Andy Bull inn their newly rebuilt 1600cc flyer.

Early June had proved tough for both crews, as Threlfall had clouted a tree on the Jim Clark Rally, while Mckay’s appearance at the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power had ended with an uncharacteristic engine failure. Read More »
