WWRS Carlisle 14Following the first running of the new DMACK Carlisle Stages, plans are already under way for the 2014 event with a provisional date set of Saturday 21 June.

This year’s event, round three of the West Wales Rally Spares R.A.C. Rally Championship, was hailed as a great success and drew widespread praise from competitors. Superb stages, slick and friendly organisation and a compact route and format drew universal acclaim from competitors. The event featured 45 stage miles and just 65 road miles, with a 10am start and the first car back at the finish by 3pm. Read More »

Alex Parpottas Ford FiestaMSA British Rally Championship contender Alex Parpottas endured a fifth gear roll into the scenery on last weekend’s third round of the series; The RSAC Scottish Rally.  After suffering from an electrical glitch throughout the opening stage which meant his Buzz Sweets Ford Fiesta R2 would cut out on uphill sections of the rough forests, he set about trying to claw some time back on the second stage of the event; Ae West. But the Fiesta R2 bottomed out on a fast section of the stage and the car rolled four times coming to rest upside down in the scenery. Read More »

PICTURE 1 Callum AtkinsonLauder’s Callum Atkinson won his class on Saturday at the Scottish Rally in Dumfries by 0.3 seconds.

The 21-year-old RSAC Motorsport scholar, who currently leads the Ecosse Challenge round, took to the five forest stages in Dumfries and Galloway clocking up around 40miles with co-driver Sue Hynd.

The new pairing of Cullum and Sue for the event didn’t take long to settle as they kept the pace fast and their timings close with the class top three drivers. Read More »
