With just over three weeks to go until the eagerly anticipated 5th annual (September 21st/22nd) Kop Hill Climb (Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire) gets underway the event continues to go from strength to strength.  The origins of today’s climb are based on the famous 1910-1925 events and still use the original road to recreate an authentic grassroots atmosphere celebrating over 100 years of motoring history.

All UK national media wishing to attend this year’s revitalised Wales Rally GB (14-17 November), the concluding round of the 2013 FIA World Rally Championship, are advised that the official Accreditation process is now open. Daniel McKenna from Donegal added to his already impressive year in the British Rally Championship, by not only winning BRC RallyTwo for the third time this year, but also taking the fourth nomination in the BRCLIVE Media Trophy in association with Prodrive.

Harry Threlfall just pipped McKenna to the Media Trophy nomination after the Scottish Rally, so the Irishman re-read the brief over the summer break and nailed the task with an excellent review video of his year to date.

Salon Privé London 2013 saw its second Chubb Insurance Tour d’Elégance officially open the UK’s premier boutique automotive event today.

A collection of 50 stunning super cars from 1928 to the present day embarked on the 30-mile tour from the Royal Automobile Club at Woodcote Park, taking in Mercedes-Benz World, the historic Brooklands circuit and museum, Hampton Court and Bushy Park before arriving at the home of Salon Privé, Syon Park.
