McLaren VictoriaMcLaren Automotive has added further strength to its communications team with the appointment of Victoria Macmillan Bell to the role of Luxury Communications Manager. This newly created position will see Victoria seeking to explore innovative brand alignment opportunities and build relationships with non-automotive media with an emphasis on luxury. Following nearly two years with the company as Product and Motorsport Press Officer, Dave Eden has been promoted into the position of Global PR Manager and, on the successful completion of a year’s internship, Adam Gron will remain with the company as Press Officer. Drayson Bonneville13Technology entrepreneur, former UK science minister and racing driver Lord (Paul) Drayson is bringing his spectacular Drayson B12 69/EV electric Le Mans Prototype racing car to the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah in an attempt to raise the sub-1000kg electric car world land speed record.

Drayson Racing achieved a 204.2mph average speed (subject to FIA homologation) over the measured mile earlier this summer at Elvington Airfield in Yorkshire, UK, and is aiming to go even faster at the much longer Bonneville track. Read More »
