WWRS Red Kite13 TVThe television coverage of the West Wales Rally Spares R.A.C Rally Championship on Motors TV will continue on Monday23 September with the report from the fifth round, the Red Kite Stages.

Importantly, the location of Motors TV has changed and it can now be found at channel 447.

Starting at 6pm on Motors TV, the 90-minute primetime programme will cover all the action as Marty McCormack and Phil Clarke clinched the overall title on classic Welsh gravel stages. Several repeat showings will include 3pm on Wednesday 25 September.

Other notable championship series winners included Terry Cree and Richard Shores, who again topped series 2 in their BMW 2002 and Dylan Davies/Llion Williams who claimed series 7 in their Ford Escort Mk1. However, one of the drives of the rally came from Ben Mellors and Alex Lee who won class D3 in their Pinto-powered Escort Mk2 and finished sixth overall in the historic rally.

The programme will cover the action on fantastic stages in the Crychan and Caio forest complexes. David Winstanley of is filming all rounds of the championship and captures all the action from the stages as well as the very best in-car footage.

Each round of the 2013 championship will be reported in a dedicated stand-alone 90-minute programme, while a mid-season review and a two-hour end-of-season review will mean at least 15 hours of prime coverage. With each programme likely to air around six times, the total exposure for the championship will be up to 90 hours.
