Following its global debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, McLaren GT has now confirmed the 12C GT Sprint will be priced at GBP £195,000*. The latest model from the GT racing arm of the McLaren Group has been developed and optimised exclusively for the race track.

The 12C GT Sprint has been designed and built by McLaren GT, in close consultation with the team at McLaren Automotive, and retains many of the unique systems from the 12C road car, on which it is based. Read More »

Russ Thompson and Andy Murphy delivered another high quality performance on gravel to take their third NGK Spark Plugs BRC Challenge win of the season. The Trackrod Challenge Rally definitely delivered on its pre-rally promise to play a pivotal role in deciding the outcome of this year’s titles.

Delivering fastest stage times on all but one of the competitive stages, the pair won the rally with a 52 second lead and head to the end of season championship decider, placed at the top of the standings ten points ahead of their nearest rivals once dropped scores are applied.

Strong results from the crews immediately behind them in the championship standings however, means that the title will have a four way scrap to decide its outcome when the field descends on Rallye Sunseeker in three weeks’ time. Read More »

McLaren Europe13As McLaren celebrates its 50th anniversary during the month of September, McLaren GT customer teams paid a fitting tribute with further successes for the marque over the weekend. Results in Spain, Belgium and Germany saw the month end as it had begun – with celebrations – with the 12C GT3 completing a dominant display across three GT championships, securing three pole positions, three podium finishes and three outright victories.

The first taste of success over the weekend saw Sébastien Loeb Racing claim victory in the Qualifying Race for McLaren GT factory driver Alvaro Parente and nine-time WRC world champion, and team owner, Sébastien Loeb, at the penultimate event on the FIA GT Series calendar at the Circuito de Navarra, Spain.
