Ralliart Italia Espana13cMexico’s Benito Guerra flanked by Spanish co-driver Borja Rozada drove a strong event from start to finish, proving his speed on both gravel and Tarmac at Rally de España this weekend. He navigated his Ralliart Italy-run Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X expertly through the stages to end the rally more than five minutes ahead of nearest competitor Nicolas Fuchs, the 2013 FIA WRC 2 Production Cup winner, marking out Guerra as the man to beat in a production car. wle13 (5)The 4th running of the WLE Rally Time Trial, run by the Forest of Dean Motor Club, saw only our 2nd visit to this event. Held at Sweet Lamb in extremely stormy conditions, Sara Williams (Impreza) was flying before not running for the final timed pass allowing FODMC stalwart Bob Morgan to take top honours in his home built Skoda Fabia. His son Jason Morgan (Evo VI) gave him a good run for his money and Terry Brown (Escort MkII) completed the podium and top 2WD crew. Read More »
