Now she’s a class-winning co-driver on one of the world’s toughest rallies, having assisted Sky Sports analyst Tony Jardine to his best ever result on Wales Rally GB (November 14-17) – the pair’s Kumho-shod ProSpeed Mitsubishi Evo was placed 1st in Class 3 and 26th overall.

The team had a tough start to the event, with Williams missing the second day of the official recce due to illness and various niggling problems on the first day of competition. It may only be November but the organisers of the RSAC Scottish Rally are already planning ahead for their event on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 June 2014.

To accommodate the needs of the various Championships that the rally counts for, the 2014 event will comprise separate National A and National B fields, each with its own route, regulations, paperwork and lead car carrying the number 1.  The National A event will count for the MSA British Rally Championship and the MSA British Historic Rally Championship, which visits the Scottish for the first time.  The National B event will be a round of the ARR Craib MSA Scottish Rally Championship and the Ecosse Challenge.

The use of stages nearer to the rally base in Dumfries will allow a more compact rally route and also an earlier finish, which should be welcomed by competitors.  It will also allow more spectators to see the finish. Read More »
