WWRS NEC14Both the Roger Albert Clark Rally and the 2014 R.A.C. Rally Championship will be on show at Autosport International at the Birmingham NEC (9-12 January).

Cars from the championship and the rally will be on display as the Roger Albert Clark Rally Motor Club takes the wraps off its 2014 programme, which has three major elements:

The seven-round 2014 R.A.C. Rally Championship
The 2014 Roger Albert Clark Rally (28-30 November)
The 2014 Carlisle Stages (21 June)

Organisers, headed by Colin and Nicola Heppenstall, will be on hand to meet current and prospective competitors. “We are keen to talk to anyone with an interest in the championship or the rally, or both,” said Colin Heppenstall. “This is also a chance to meet the marshals and fans who support our events.”

Heppenstall says that the show will be the platform from which to launch more news about the 2014 championship. “We will have an announcement at the show about some exciting plans for the Category 1 cars, as well as lots more details about the new season.”

Championship eligibility scrutineer John Cooper will be there on Thursday, Friday and Saturday to answer technical questions, and championship registration will be available to visitors.

Meanwhile, the DVD of the 2013 Roger Albert Clark Rally will be available for purchase from David Winstanley of Rally TV. The two-hour DVD of the rally, titled ‘One More Time’, was filmed from six cameras and numerous on-boards and comes with a free on-board DVD. The DVD review of the 2013 R.A.C. Rally Championship will also be available and also includes a free on-board DVD.
