Peugeot Dakar15 announceAfter their extraordinary adventure in 2013, which saw them smash the record for the celebrated Pikes Peak Hill Climb, Peugeot Sport, Red Bull and Total have again joined forces for another exacting yet equally exciting challenge: the Dakar. To take on the 10,000km of the world’s longest and toughest cross-country rally 25 years after the French car manufacturer last contested the event, the team has recruited Carlos Sainz and Cyril Despres.

SVS14 IrishThe organisers of the 2014 Severn Valley Stages (Saturday 31 May) have issued an invitation to crews from Ireland and the Isle of Man to come and sample some of the finest gravel stages in the UK.

The event comes at a perfect time of the season to attract crews from across the water and the organisers have arranged special ferry deals with Fairfield Motorsport. Any visiting crews will be able to scrutineer on Saturday morning if required and the organisers will do everything possible to ensure that crews can get away promptly on Saturday afternoon for return ferries.
