The UK’s premier rally championship will start the 2014 season from Carlisle City centre with the Pirelli Carlisle RB Foundation Rally, originally slotted in as round two of the MSA British Rally Championship, now the series opener.

Event supporter Carlisle City Council City Council is organising street entertainment to give the proceedings a real carnival atmosphere for the rally’s ceremonial start, located in the heart of the city in front of the Old Town Hall.

With the new administrative headquarters and service park located a short walk away at Carlisle United’s Brunton Park, there will be plenty to see and do. But the real action takes place on Saturday, featuring high speed stages over the gravel tracks in the Kielder and Kershope forest complexes. Read More »
