pirelli13 (80)With the announcement of Carlisle City Council’s accompanying free family fun day, the supporter’s pack for the MSA British Rally Championship’s opening round, the Pirelli Carlisle Richard Burns Foundation Rally (May 3/4), is still available to purchase via the event’s website.

The packs are available on a first-come first-served basis for just £20 including delivery and with limited availability you’ll need to get an order in soon. Once ordered, packs will be delivered from the 20th April and will include everything you need to enhance your enjoyment of the 2014 event.

The pack contains:
•    A car pass allowing free parking in all forest spectator car parks
•    Two Pirelli Carlisle Richard Burns Foundation Rally Supporter IDs
•    A Lanyard for each Rally Supporter ID.
•    An A4 Rally Programme with details of the competitors and stage locations
•    An entry list for all events
•    A 2014 Rally decal

While spectators outside Carlisle’s Old Town Hall get a chance to see the cars up close and grab autographs ahead of Saturday’s 10.30am start, they will also be entertained by a programme of free street entertainment laid on by the enthusiastic City Council. (schedule of attractions HERE)

The Langholm Pipe Band will be on hand to accompany the starters as they are flagged away by the City Mayor, Councillor Ray Bloxham, while budding drivers of tomorrow can try out their skills on a giant Scalextric layout at the Old Fire Station Arts Centre throughout the day.

The Sunday lunchtime rally finish should prove to be quite an occasion too. In addition to a high profile finish podium ceremony in Carlisle City centre, the Zing Community Rock Choir will make sure the proceedings go with a swing.
