Nasser Al-Attiyah (QT), in the MINI ALL4 Racing, is the clear leader at the halfway point of the Sealine Cross-Country Rally in the desert state of Qatar (20th to 25th April). He leads the field after three of the six legs, 39:38 minutes ahead of X-raid teammate Vladimir Vasilyev (RU) and is well positioned to win his home rally.

Driving his new-for-2014 Ford Fiesta R2, McClure has his sights firmly set on the BRC2 category title as well as the coveted Pirelli Star Driver nominations which are awarded to a select number of competitors showing outstanding talent throughout the season’s 6 events.  This year McClure will be backed by Wetherby based flooring specialists Allfloors Express who have supported his motorsport activities for many years and has now become title sponsor for his British Championship assault. Organisers of the GWF Energy Merrick Stages Rally are looking forward to returning to Wigtown in September for the fifth consecutive year.

The event, which counts as the penultimate round of the ARR Craib MSA Scottish Rally Championship, has been given new impetus thanks to the support of Dumfries and Galloway Council, as part of its major events strategy.

Jointly promoted by Machars Car Club and Scottish Sporting Car Club, the “Merrick” will again draw the country’s leading rally crews to the renowned Glentrool and Galloway forest stages. Read More »

DMack Carlisle14Regulations for the 2014 DMACK Tyres Carlisle Stages (Saturday 21 June) have been released, with 45 stage miles in the Kershope and Newcastleton complexes for a competitive entry fee of £480.

The rally will feature two elements: the DMACK Tyres Carlisle Stages Rally will form round five of the West Wales Rally Spares R.A.C. Rally Championship, while the DMACK Tyres Modern Carlisle Stages Rally will be open to all other competitors, including those in four-wheel drive cars. Read More »
