RAC Rally14The 2014 Roger Albert Clark Rally (28-30 November) will have a completely new look as the event starts a new era with Sunderland as the host city.

With the rally start, finish and HQ all based in Sunderland, the route will make extensive use of the Kielder forest complex and will take in several stages that are completely new to the event in a total competitive route of up to 190 stage miles. Read More »

World RX pre-Portugal14The opening round of the all-new FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy will kick off in Portugal this weekend (3-4 May) with more than 50 of the world’s best rallycross drivers set to battle it out across the Supercar, Super1600 and TouringCar categories and in the supporting RX Lites Cup.  The line-up will also include two former World Champions as former F1 World Champion Jacques Villeneuve and former WRC Champion Petter Solberg join the Supercar line-up. Dakar R2R14dRace2Recovery is a half-hour documentary debuting on British Eurosport this Saturday (May 3rd) at 7.30pm. The show is a sequel to the critically acclaimed Dakar Rally: Frontline to Finish Line and follows a team of amputee and seriously injured servicemen as they take on the world’s toughest rally.

In 2013 Race2Recovery became the first team of amputees ever to complete the Dakar Rally and this year they returned to do it all again. Read More »

Now integral to the MSA British Rally Championship structure, the 2014 NGK Spark Plugs BRC Challenge Trophy bursts into life on this weekend’s Pirelli Carlisle RB Foundation Rally, it’s crews drawn by the prospect of rallying in the fabulous Kielder forest complex.

For the first time ever, the ‘Challenge crews will run within the BRC field on the stages, providing the opportunity to participate alongside the hottest of BRC young talent, while battling it out in this, the tenth year of the series.

Two former champions are amongst the protagonists, Citroën crew Richard Sykes and co-driver Emma Morrison back to try to add to Sykes’ 2012 tile, while fellow Midlander Neil Matthews also returns after a four year break with new co-driver Claire Williams in his trusty Vauxhall Nova. Read More »
