Rendina pre-Argentina14After winning three WRC 2 Championship Group N Cup events in a row in Monte Carlo, México and Portugal, Italian driver Max Rendina is taking to the stages again this weekend in Argentina. Flanked by countryman Mario Pizzuti and run by three times Production car World Champions Ralliart Italy, Rendina has all the tools at his disposal to put in a good showing on the Cordoba-based event.

Rendina was pleased to get off to a good start, by topping the Group N Cup field on the opening 6.04 kilometre Super Special Stage this evening, especially with rival Juan Carlos Alonso competing on home soil. Read More »

Alex Parpottas / Jamie Edwards Ford FiestaFresh from his podium position on last month’s Circuit of Ireland Rally, Alex Parpottas will take on one of the biggest challenges of his motorsport career next weekend as he heads to the Portuguese island of Acores to take part in the third round of the FIA Junior European Rally Championship, The Sata Rallye Acores. The small island lays deep in the North Atlantic Ocean with a population of just under 250,000 but will provide one of the toughest tests of bravery and skill in the entire rally calendar. The 1930 Le Mans ‘Team Car’ once owned by Sir Henry ‘Tim’ Birkin, one of the most celebrated members of a group of British gentlemen racers known as the Bentley Boys, will be joined by a former company demonstrator Blower with its original Vanden Plas Open, Sports Four Seater body for this renowned race.
