SVS14 fillingIt is a case of all systems go for the 2014 Severn Valley Stages (Saturday 31 May), which has already bucked the general trend in 2014 of lower entry numbers on gravel rallies.

With a week to go until entries close on 23 May the event has already taken 90 entries with around another 20 expected next week. The 2013 event received 87 entries in total and the event organisers are thrilled with the response to the 41st running of the rally. Read More »

– Credit Suisse celebrated the 10th anniversary of its Classic Car Program by creating many memorable moments at the 9th Grand Prix de Monaco Historique from May 9-11, 2014
– A strongly attended 4th Credit Suisse Historic Racing Forum saw a star line-up of racing driver panelists – Sir Stirling Moss, Derek Bell, Jochen Mass and Romain Dumas – discussing the theme of ‘Dream Circuits’ in the Credit Suisse Drivers Club
– Sir Stirling Moss also returned to Monaco with Credit Suisse to recall his memories of racing in the Principality, and to be re-united with a Maserati 250 F, the model in which he won the 1956 Monaco Grand Prix
– Credit Suisse launched its first Photo Contest for the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique

With 52 miles of timed to the second special stages packed into the evening of Friday 30th May followed by 85 miles on Saturday 31st, this year’s Jim Clark Rally promises to provide one of the toughest events in the 2014  MSA British Rally Championship.

Run over sections of closed public roads, the nature of the special stages range from fast, open, two-lane roads, where rally drivers have to pick a racing line through the bends, to narrow, bumpy lanes where the corners are obscured by walls and hedges.

Based at the Kelso showground for the first time, crews will loop from this new service area to stages north and north west of the town, returning for essential repairs several times throughout the two days. Read More »
