WWRS14 SVS TVThe television coverage of round four of the 2014 West Wales Rally Spares R.A.C. Rally Championship, the Severn Valley Stages, will be broadcast on Motors TV on Friday (27 June) starting at 8.30pm.

The 90-minute programme, produced by Olly Dickinson and narrated by David Addison, covers the full story of the Welsh event as another tremendous field of R.A.C. crews tackled stages in Crychan, Halfway and Cefn. WWRS14 Carlisle14aJason Pritchard and Phil Clarke claimed a fine victory on the DMACK Carlisle Stages (Saturday 21 June), the fifth round of the West Wales Rally Spares R.A.C. Rally Championship.

From a field packed with quality, Pritchard (Ford Escort Mk2) topped a fierce battle that raged over six dry and dusty stages in the Kershope region as the top three crews were covered by 23 seconds and less than a minute covered the top six at the end of a rally that drew rave reviews from the competitors. – Hyundai Shell World Rally Team will field three Hyundai i20 WRC cars in Rally Poland, the seventh round of the 2014 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC)
– Thierry Neuville (#7 Hyundai i20 WRC), Juho Hänninen (#8 Hyundai i20 WRC) and Hayden Paddon (#20 Hyundai i20 WRC) will contest their second consecutive rally together with the same line-up as Rally Italia Sardegna earlier this month
– The team carried out a test in Poland between Argentina and Sardegna with all three drivers to work on the Hyundai i20 WRC, while using Sardegna itself to prepare for the conditions expected in Rally Poland.

FIA WORLD RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP 2014 - PORTUGAL RALLYLeading oil blender Morris Lubricants is preparing to step onto the global stage this weekend as international rally stars lock horns in the second round of the Drive DMACK Fiesta Trophy.

Outlander Phev14Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) announces that it will dispatch a team of technical support engineers for an Outlander PHEV entered in the T1.3 4×4 Electric class of the gruelling 2,200km FIA-certified Asia Cross Country Rally 2014 (AXCR) from August 9 through 15, to be run from Thailand to Cambodia. The Two & Four Motor Sports rally team (Two & Four), headed by Kenji Ishida, will run an Outlander PHEV in the race for the second straight year. MMC engineers will provide Two & Four’s team technical support for the plug-in hybrid four-wheel drive SUV for the duration of the rally.
