– JD Classics was delighted on behalf of its customers and workshop team to be invited back to Pebble Beach, arguably the most prestigious classic car concours in the world
– Together JD Classics celebrated its best ever showing at Pebble Beach Concours of Elegance and The Quail returning to the UK with three Best in Class trophies and a Special Award
– At Pebble Beach, JD Classics won Best in Class with the 1951 Geneva Show Prototype Jaguar XK120 Fixed Head Coupe in the Post-War Touring category
– Also at Pebble Beach, the JD Classics restored Jaguar XK120 Jabbeke land speed record car won Best in Class in the Post-War Sports Racing category
– At The Quail, JD Classics won Best in Class in the Post-War Sports category with the Jaguar XKSS, newly restored by JD Classics and returned to its original factory colours of Mist Grey with red leather
– Jaguar legend and chief test and development driver in period Norman Dewis received the awards for the Jabbeke car and the XKSS on behalf of JD Classics receiving warms applause from the crowd on the lawns
