Geoff and JamieZimbabwean born safari guide, Geoff Mayes, is all set to make his driving debut on the forthcoming KCB Safari Rally. Having first worked as a professional photographer on the rally and then co-driven on the past two editions Geoff will now swap seats for this, the 62nd edition of the world famous event. And Geoff will once more be raising awareness for a cause that is very close to his heart, the plight of the African elephant, by promoting the “Hands off our Elephants” campaign on his rally car. Busby Auctions of Bridport, Dorset, are delighted to have been appointed by the executors agents for the late John Coombs to handle the sale of a large number of spares and parts from the stores.

John Coombs was a racing driver and later entrant of such greats as Mike Hawthorn, Roy Salvadori and Graham Hill. While more widely known for his Jaguar connection, Coombs of Guildford being a celebrated and favoured agent for the Coventry marque, John’s personal automotive interests stretched far and wide.

2ElfynEvansRallyFinlandRallyday is delighted to announce that Elfyn Evans will head up the largest ever M-Sport display at the fourteenth edition of the UK’s Premier Rally Car Show that will take place on Saturday 20th September 2014 at Wiltshire’s Castle Combe Circuit.
