The North Wales Rally Services – Weir Laundry Equipment RNW Stages (Rally North Wales) are delighted to announce an opportunity for one lucky event class winner to contest the final round of the FIA World Rally Championship, Wales Rally GB. As part of the highly successful Road to Wales initiative, event organisers Wolverhampton and South Staffordshire Car Club have secured Rally North Wales as a qualifying event for the prize which will offers the opportunity to compete alongside the world’s best drivers on the November showdown.

Introduced in 2013 to revitalise the concluding round of the WRC, the Road to Wales programme has enabled winning competitors from a wide range of championships to secure a free entry to the event. Read More »

Over 160 rally crews from around the UK will head to Minehead in April as the ever popular Somerset Stages Rally moves back to the seaside resort after a year away from the town.  The 18th April event was forced to move to Bridgewater in 2014 due to a lack of available space in the area, but will bring competitors in the BTRDA National Gravel rally championship back to the North coast this year.

The Beach Hotel will play host to Rally Headquarters during the event and the teams will base themselves along the seafront for service as the crews head out into Exmoor to tackle stages in the surrounding forests and now familiar blast along the Porlock Toll Road. Teams competing on the biggest rally series in the country will contest the April event as part of the 10-round BTRDA championship and event organisers Burnham-on-Sea Motor Club and Minehead Motor Club are overjoyed to be back in Minehead for 2015.   Read More »

Over the last few weeks, the Hagfors region has enjoyed perfect wintry weather conditions. Extremely cold temperatures have followed heavy snowfall to create a thick layer of icy snow on the roads. Mclaren Senna15McLaren GT is pleased to announce Brazilian ex-Formula 1 driver Bruno Senna as a factory driver for the 2015 season. Senna, 31, joins the McLaren GT factory driver programme alongside Rob Bell, Kevin Estre and Alvaro Parente. His role will involve the on-going development programme for the 650S GT3 and 650S Sprint models, as well as racing in selected events with the new 650S GT3, which makes its competitive debut with McLaren GT customer teams this year.
