Southern Car Club and Farnborough District Motor Club have come to the difficult decision that the Aldershot Rally for Heroes – due to run on 10/11 April – will not now take place, as entries received so far do not make the event financially viable. This is a bitter disappointment to everyone concerned, after the hard work the organising teams have put in to get the event off the ground in such a short space of time.

The organisers apologise to the competitors, landowners, volunteers, the military and the Help for Heroes charity, for not being able to go ahead with the event. They thank those competitors, who had pledged support to the event, but understand that, for some, the timeframe and financial obligation have meant they were not able to show their support.
