WWRS15 Flatters APhil Burton and Mal Capstick won again in the sixth round of the West Wales Rally Spares R.A.C. Rally Championship, the Harry Flatters Rally (Sunday 26 July).

Despite it being his first visit to the Epynt ranges and his first asphalt rally for 22 years, Burton set a cracking pace in his Ford Escort Mk2 to win convincingly as persistent rain hit the event. “We set off level headed and slowly built our speed,” said Burton, who made excellent progress and finished ninth overall in the modern event. BHRC15 Flatters AJason Pritchard and Phil Clarke claimed an important victory on round five of the Mintex MSA British Historic Rally Championship on the Harry Flatters Rally (Sunday 26 July).

Persistent and heavy rain made the Epynt ranges a tough place to go rallying, but Pritchard and Clarke rose to the challenge of five long stages on the asphalt roads of the famous venue and were clear victors as the sun finally came out in time to welcome the finishers back to Brecon. Read More »

At the height of the summer, the Citroën Total Abu Dhabi World Rally Team enters the second half of the season in Finland. Based around the city of Jyväskylä, the team’s three DS 3 WRCs will be driven by Mads Østberg/Jonas Andersson, Kris Meeke/Paul Nagle and Khalid Al Qassimi/Chris Patterson. The Citroën Total Abu Dhabi World Rally Team lies second in the Manufacturers’ World Rally Championship after the opening seven rounds.
