Quentin Mitchell Eldoret01The recent KCB Machakos Rally proved to be a real test of man and machine and with a high rate of attrition the QMR Rally Team of Quentin Mitchell and Tom Taylor were happy to overcome a number of dramas to finish the event with a top ten result. The Shell V-Power and Velvex Tissue supported Skoda S2000 struggled with a broken front diff for nearly half of the event but their “never give up” attitude saw the team record their second consecutive points paying finish of the season. DS Virgin Racing is delighted to announce that British driver Sam Bird has retained his seat for the FIA Formula E 2015-16 season and will be partnered in the garage by French racing driver, Jean-Eric Vergne.   pic

Bird, who represented the Virgin Racing team in the inaugural season of the FIA Formula E championship, won as many races as the eventual championship winner, including the London finale and a dominant victory in Putrajaya, Malaysia. The 28-year-old was one of the most impressive drivers in the first FIA Formula E season picking up three podiums and two fastest laps, in addition to his two race wins. Read More »

The usedcarparts Solway Coast Junior Rally is one of the highlights in the season for all 3 UK Junior 1000 Championships. And the 2015 event on 9th August based on the military ranges near Kirkcudbright and organised by Solway Car Club delivered everything that was expected of it. This is the only time in the year when all 3 Championships get together and it is one of the most testing events. The roads are very different to anything else that the young drivers compete on and the weather usually plays a big part.

Team BMR star bags huge points haul while Goff grabs maiden win

Reigning champion Colin Turkington fully ignited his Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship defence with a dynamic double win at Snetterton yesterday (9 August).

He became the first driver to take a second pole position of the season after getting the better of his Team BMR stable-mates Aron Smith and Jason Plato on Saturday, as the squad produced the first qualifying 1-2-3 in the BTCC for eight years. Read More »

WorldRX15 CanadaFrenchman Davy Jeanney has won the World RX of Canada, round seven of the FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy, after a lights-to-flag victory at the wheel of a Team Peugeot-Hansen prepared 208 WRX Supercar.
