European race car hire and track day experts Jaco’s Paddock Motorsport are running a two-day track day and a National A race licence operation at Dutch super-circuit Zandvoort on 8-11 November.

The two-day, open pit lane track event – open to all makes of cars (subject to noise restrictions) – will take place on 10/11 November at the internationally renowned and challenging 2.676-mile circuit, nestling off the dunes on the North coast of Holland, just a few miles from the famous city of Amsterdam.

In addition to those simply wanting to sample Dutch delights and the attractions of the Netherland’s premier circuit – including great turns like Scheivlak and the Tarzanbocht – for two days, the Jaco’s Paddock Motorsport operation will also be offering the chance to obtain a German National A race licence, suitable for racing at circuits like the Nurburgring Nordschleife, in the thrilling VLN Race Series.

Using either your own race car, or by arranging separate access to one of three Jaco’s Paddock Motorsport race-prepared BMWs (at additional cost), the two-day driver training goes through all aspects of the National A race licence process, with an arrive, learn, obtain licence and drive on track package.

The two-day program of race licence training specifically includes:

Sunday 8 November: Theory

:: Theoretical education: Regulations of the Deutscher Motor Sport Bund (DMSB), meaning of the flags, cars of all groups according to the DMSB technical prescriptions, car preparation and necessary obligatory safety equipment, protective clothing and helmets and finally;

Jaco says: “This will be a superb event, for those who just want to come and enjoy two great days track driving at Holland’s premier circuit, and enjoy all that this vibrant region of Holland has to offer – or for those coming to obtain their German National A race licence and start a racing career at some of the world best circuits, like the famous Nurburgring Nordschleife.

“We have been running track events and providing race licence training for years. And Zandvoort’s facilities, the circuit and the surrounding area give us the perfect place to offer the course, affordably and in style. These events are extremely popular and great value, and with the track day running after the training, you can enjoy Zandvoort for two full days of fun afterwards, to celebrate gaining your German racing licence – whether it’s in your own race car, or by hiring one of our superb BMW racers.

“We recommend early booking to secure your place, as these events fill up fast, and we look forward to welcoming you to the warm weather of Holland in November for some track day and racing fun.”
The licence training on 8/9 November is €849 (including soft drinks during the theoretical education, certificate of participation and DMSB Licence application); the track days are €439 for 10 November and €439 for 11 November. That’s c£620 for the two-day race licence process and c£320 per day for the track event (subject to exchange rates).
