Blair fiestaKinross youngster Blair Brown took class win whilst debuting the first privately built M-sport World rally team Ford Fiesta R2 Ecoboost on Rally Isle of Man last weekend. The QTS Group backed young driver joined the further 125 drivers in tackling the 170 stage mile long event, that uses the internationally renowned Isle of Man roads. With only 80 crews successfully finishing the three day-long event, Blair and co-driver Richard Simmonds from Duns also finished 24th place overall in the National event. Read More »

Rhys_Yates_PR7_15_TRYChesterfield rally ace Rhys Yates will head to the penultimate round of the REIS-Ravenol BTRDA Rally Series this weekend in a bid to secure the coveted BTRDA Silver Star title at the Trackrod Rally Yorkshire (Saturday 26th September).  The series for two wheel drive contenders is one of the closest battles in British Rallying and Yates will pilot his Brettex Site Services backed Ford Fiesta R2 on the Pickering based event in hope of adding to his five class victories this year and taking the title with a round to spare. BTRDA Rally series regular Sam Bilham will tackle his home event this weekend in his newly acquired Ford Fiesta ST. Making the step up from a Rally First Nissan Micra, Bilham will use the Allfab EMS Ltd backed machine at Trackrod Rally Yorkshire (Saturday 26th September), the penultimate round of the REIS-Ravenol BTRDA Championship.

The 18 year old from Bingley, West Yorkshire has had sporadic outings in the BTRDA series this year in the 1400cc Next Big Step award Micra but having secured a deal to contest the final round of the FIA World Rally Championship – Wales Rally GB in November, Bilham will use the Pickering event to test the class N3 car ahead of his WRC debut.
